I'm walking with a limp because my feet are completely gone. My right shoulder feels like it going to fall off from an imbalance of camera weight. My eyes are dryer than the desert, and despite the allure of street-vendor kababs and pizza, my stomach may not agree with my enthusiasm. It was all worth it. Although I've spent some time in big cities, wandering around NYC is an experience on its own. It's often said that there is a feeling. A smell, taste, a freakishly overwhelming synesthaesia; completely correct. Luckily, I had the company of comfortable shoes, warm clothing, and experienced friends to work my way through. While Houston (pronouncted hyoo-stun, not how-stun) has my heart and Chicago has my stomach, NYC is simply a creative overload. Initially I had planned on shooting for class work but it slowly grew that I'd rather create images that fulfill my own overloaded mind and what I was seeing.  I'm still working through hundreds images, it'll take some time, and school work (what I'm really here for) definitely isn't helping; look forward to images in the weeks to come!
