Back in March I had the joy of photographing a great friend/creative partner, Illy for a Film Noir-esque shoot on location (well, outside of the studio but in the building). We worked together on building a wardrobe that might bring the "femme" character of Film Noir into the current era, and she was awesome at pushing an edgy character that really made the shoot fun.
I took the opportunity to try out the new Phase IQ140 back, that improves upon the awesome image quality we get from our fleet of P40+ systems. The images were shot with a mix of 45 and 80mm lenses on a 645DF+IQ140 and processed in Capture One. Lighting consisted of one or two heads, a Profoto ProFresnel Spot as main, and bare head pointed into my white tee shirt for fill, hooked into an Acute2 1200 pack.
